100% linen. Gingham woven from black and white yarn, then overdyed with bengara, a traditional Japanese pigment made from iron oxide. Naturally red in hue, bengara was historically produced as a by-product of copper mining in Fukiya Village, Takahashi. Subtle variations in colour emerge through the natural dyeing process. Woven in Aichi, Japan. Produced for MAN–TLE.
