Beginning in 1951, founder Harry Sebel first started manufacturing toys and furniture. By the late 1960’s the decision to focus solely on furniture soon led to the birth of many iconic Australian designs. With a focus on Australian made manufacturing, Sebel became the first company to move away from the wooden chair and soon became one of the largest furniture manufactures in the Southern Hemisphere. Sebel designs are unmistakable and conjure a sense of nostalgia, having been part of the lives of many Australians growing up.

For the first time in Sebel’s history, they have released a marbled version of the iconic Integra Chair, exclusively in partnership with MAN-TLE. As their unique injection moulding process transitions from one colour batch to the next, marbled chairs are produced with no-two alike.

Designed in 1974 by Charles Furey, an Australian industrial designer, Sebel’s 'Integra' chair became the worlds first single-piece injection moulded polypropylene chair. Accredited for its functionality, strength and durability, it became the chair of choice for schools, hospitals, recreation spaces and prisons across the world. To this day the Integra chair continues to be made in Australia.

Due to the varied colour of these chairs, we welcome you to get in touch for more specific photos of the exact pieces at hand. The images above serve as a representation of the colours in this particular SKU.
